Five Keys to Wellness

Hi,

Simon King here, manager of the Naturality Wellness Centre.

  (That's Me)

If you're reading this, you probably already know that conventional approaches won't solve your problem.

Don't worry, you're in the right place. I've made a habit of helping people when all conventional (and unconventional) approaches have been tried and failed.

With 20 years and over 100,000 patient visits under my belt (that's not called "practising" for nothing!) I have something new and different to offer you.

It's a special understanding of how your body works - a new medical discovery that I have been researching and investigating for the last 8 years. I'm publishing a book about it which will be out in a couple of months but this report is a sneak preview.

The key to pain-free health is muscle reflexes.

Muscles carry us though our lives so effortlessly, we hardly give a thought to their function. Have you noticed there is a specialty for every body system (bones, nerves, joints mind etc) except your muscles!

Muscles move when we want them to, which is why they're called voluntary muscles, but surprisingly, about 90% of our muscle action is completely involuntary. The muscles that hold your head up or stabilise your ankle when you walk are acting without your awareness but they do a very important job.

Muscles keep you safe. They stop your environment injuring you.

Muscle reflex testing is probably the most important medical test you've never had.

Muscle reflexes rely on your nervous system and your muscle system working together. What seems a simple activity is extremely complex and involves lots of factors, many of which are completely subconscious.

If you took your car to the mechanic, how much could they tell about the way your car was working by looking at a drop of your oil under a microscope? Not much. You can still be sick and in pain with a normal blood test.

Maybe you've had an MRI scan or X-Rays. Taking an MRI scan is like taking a photograph of a road accident. You can see all the damage, but nothing in the photograph tells you whether someone fell asleep or the bend was too tight or a wheel fell off. You can know about the damage but not the cause.

That's why it's so important that you have your muscle reflexes checked.

Weak reflexes means weak muscles and weak muscles means:

Pain and injury:

Muscle and joint injuries are given many different names - like back pain, neck pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, repetitive strain injury, carpal tunnel syndrome, slipped discs, sciatica, sports injuries, sprains and strains; but all of them are caused by just one thing - lack of support from the surrounding muscles. If you're in pain, what you really have is hidden muscle inhibition. This means that the muscles you needed to hold your joint steady or move it in a certain way, fail to fire effectively your joint was injured as a result.

You won't know your muscles are weak because your brain will normally adjust the way you move so you don't use the weak muscles. Only a skilled muscle tester will be able to test the function of each muscle and find the cause of any weaknesses.

Osteoarthritis:

New research shows that osteoarthritis is caused by muscle weakness.

Osteoarthritis results from muscles not supporting a joint for years. Excessive stress on the joint results in cartilage damage and calcium in the ligaments as the body attempts to fuse the joint.

Fusion limits our movement, making us stiff and sore. In extreme cases, hips and knees become so worn that they need to be replaced by artificial ones. If you make sure your muscles are up to the task when you're younger, you may well prevent an operation in the future.

Weight Gain:

Muscles are always active, even when you're not doing anything. At rest, muscles are still contracting. Every contraction uses energy and burns calories so the more active your muscles are, the more calories you burn and the slimmer you become. Muscle inhibition means less calories burned and easier weight gain.

Stress and Hormone Imbalance:

Recent research shows that there is a direct connection between contraction of the leg muscles and stimulation of the adrenal glands. Scientists believe that this helps us escape from emergencies. As we use our leg muscles our adrenal glands are stimulated to produce adrenalin. The harder we run, the more adrenal hormones are produced so we can run even faster. Turns out the fight and flight reflex isn't just and emotional event.

When we're not running, resting muscle tone in our legs stimulates our adrenalin to give us energy, enthusiasm and feelings of wellbeing. When our leg muscles are inhibited, we will suffer the opposite - tiredness, fatigue, injury, depression and stress. The extra adrenal stimulation may also increase the output of cortisone, the body's natural anti-inflammatory and infection fighter.

High blood pressure:

We know that exercise lowers blood pressure but most people wrongly assume this is because exercise trains or conditions the heart. Actually, blood pressure rises when there is too much fluid in the body (which is why many people take diuretics to lower blood pressure). Fluid levels are controlled by hormones released by the kidneys. Stimulation to the kidneys is also influenced by muscle tone in the legs so exercise helps us lose fluid by helping the kidneys work better, not training the heart.

Poor posture:

Posture does not deteriorate due to laziness or inactivity. Up to ninety percent of our muscle activity is not under our conscious control. Inborn reflexes are the main controllers of postural muscles. If these reflexes should be fatigued or inhibited, then our posture will suffer.

Osteoporosis:

The worst form of human osteoporosis is not found in post-menopausal women, it is found in the legs of paraplegics. The amount of calcium in our bones depends on the amount of stress those bones are under. One of the best stresses for bones is the contraction of the muscles that attach to them.

Early death:

Hip fracture is a major source of mortality in the aged. One study showed that those with high muscle strength before a hip fracture lived around 9 times longer than those with the lowest strength. Muscle strength has also been shown to prevent the falls that cause hip fracture.

What can you do about it?

Muscle reflexes work by reacting to the environment. Your hand pulls away if you touch something hot, you pull your foot away if you stand on a nail, you squirm or flinch if someone tickles you. These involuntary actions keep you safe and help you move through your world effortlessly. When the irritation or stimulation is removed, your muscles go back to normal.

Sometimes, however, the irritation to our sensory nerves never goes away. Worst of the irritants we can't get away from is metal - especially metal in our dentistry and jewellery.

These irritants sit in contact with out skin and mucous membranes and alter the way our muscles work. If any metal happens to touch a nerve ending, no amount of exercise, rest or nutrition will return you to normal.

After testing this system extensively, I can tell you the FIVE most important things you can do to live without pain and restore your health are:

  1. Avoid metal or other foreign bodies in or around your body - especially piercings (even ear piercing and dental crowns).
  2. Decide to take absolute responsibility for your own health and wellbeing.
  3. Avoid all drugs and stimulants.
  4. Eat real food and as much raw food as possible
  5. Don't accept treatment that is short-term or symptomatic
Obviously, some of these things are easier to implement than others.  You can easily try removing your jewellery but you should not start altering your dentistry without proper testing to see if it is necessary and if it is actually part of what is causing your problem.

You definitely don't want to have all the metal ripped out of your mouth if you don't need to, which is why I would love to take the guess-work out of it for you. You want to do the best to help yourself, but you need to be sure that the treatment you have is right.

With a consultation and a couple of follow-ups, I can find out if you have any muscle weaknesses and usually pinpoint exactly what you need to do to get yourself better. Testing is like an MOT. It road-tests all your muscles, joints, nerves and reflexes quickly and painlessly. If everything is working fine, that's great. If not, we can either treat the problem or advise how you can fix it.

Many of our patients get amazing results. Here are a few of their stories:

"Having tried most conventional cures for prolapsed discs, I visited the Naturality Wellness Centre in a state of desperation. The pain had kept me out of work for a year and there seemed no end in sight. Within a few months, Simon King had me back on my feet and now I am better than ever.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the centre; in fact all of my family and many of my friends are now regular visitors. The range of treatments is excellent and the atmosphere is always welcoming. If you want the best treatment and aftercare, then look no further. Naturality Wellness Centre is where you will find it."

Jamie J-M, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire

"Simon King gave me a thorough check up, and thanks to his advice, I ran the London Marathon in 2007, after being crippled with ME and arthritis only a year earlier! He now treats all the family (four kids, two adults) and we have changed our lifestyles considerably, to achieve much better health. Naturality is a really great place to go to for problems that nobody else can fix!"

Erica M, Boreham Wood, Hertfordshire

"I had been suffering for several years with intermittent back and stomach pain. Despite constant visits to doctors and physiotherapists, no-one could tell me what was wrong with me. Simon King gave me a thorough check up and diagnosed that I was actually quite healthy apart from having gall stones! After recommending a change of diet and a few gall bladder flushes, I had no further pain and had my life back. Now I am fighting fit and living my life to the full. I am constantly recommending Simon King to virtually anyone who will listen! He is nothing short of a miracle worker."

Sonia P, Milton Keynes

One thing is for certain, if you don't DO anything, you'll stay much the same as you are. So keep searching for a cure for your problem. Your health is your most valuable possession, look after it well.
How Much Does it Cost?

I charge £30 for a regular or check-up visit which takes 15 mins but the first visit usually takes 45 mins and so costs £90. Considering that you could pay £250 to see a specialist, only to be told you need and MRI scan, I think this is fantastic value but I have an additional guarantee. I offer a 48 hour money-back guarantee - if you don't think the visit was worth the fee, then tell me and I'll give you a refund. Fortunately most patients tell me the advice was worth 10 times what they paid.

I wish you all the best with whatever treatment you choose. If I can help make those choices easier then please call me on 01442800400 or reply to this email.

Best wishes
